Bultaco.cat

This is a ‘link page’ to the most comprehensive Bultaco Motorcycles photographs ever taken, all in one single archive.

Victor Martin heads up the website and tells us a bit more about the photographer:

“Born in Barcelona on July 21, 1930 to a French father and a Catalan mother, his name was Juan Luis Gaillard Serra.

By profession, Juan was an Industrial Technical Engineer. In 1964 he became part of the Bultaco Motorcycles staff, to develop the exploded view catalogues of the different models that were being manufactured. However, in the factory there was no one to reflect in photos all the catalogues and advertising posters that were to be produced to publicise the brand. Since Juan Luis was passionate about photography, he went from working as an Engineer to become the Head of the Communication and Press Department.

On January 9, 2005, at the age of 75, a sudden stroke took him away forever.

Now, his family has contacted me to digitize all the negatives and I am delighted to do so on my domain.”
